There are so many why’s that make up my reasoning for participating in the world race. I’ve received many questions and wanted to share a little bit more about my why’s. I am happy to share how I’ve been involved in my community for the last four years. Initially, I started participating as a member of an organization by the name of Wyldlife in middle school, which lead me to my passion as I got older.
This organization, led by the global Younglife foundation has allowed me to pursue that passion, which includes volunteering with individuals with disabilities through young life’s Capernaum, leading middle schoolers as I was lead when I was younger and continuing my walk with the Lord which facilitates every other aspect of my life.
Because of this journey, my goal through the world race is to allow others to feel the freedom that I have felt as I have matured. As I’m sure you can understand, countries such as Swaziland, Ethiopia, and Cambodia have amazing potential for this and I feel as though I have been gifted with the ability to teach, love, and leave a positive mark on this world.
